Subtitle Edit v3.2.4 Build 17008

Subtitle Edit v3.2.4 Build 17008 is an editor for video subtitles - a subtitle editor, Subtitle Edit is a free subtitle editor that uses an intuitive, clear interface as the basis for modifying your .srt subtitles. Subtitle Edit actually works with a variety of file formats and, once loaded, displays them in large window. You can then move down the dialog, phrase by phrase, editing, changing or erasing whatever's needed. There are two ways of viewing subtitles with Subtitle Edit - List or Source view. List view shows separate columns with the start, end time and duration of the phrase, while Source displays the raw text version. It's easiest to edit subtitles in List mode, as there is an editing box specifically designed for the process.

You can modify the duration and timing of the subtitle, as well its actual content, to make sure it matches the dialog perfectly. Subtitle Edit also has a whole range of other options, ranging from spellchecking and translation to adding new lines and removing subtitles for the hearing impaired. It also has a good selection of configuration settings that allow you to modify how the program appears and behaves. Subtitle Edit is very well-designed, so even if you have no experience with subtitle software, it shouldn't take long for you to get the hang of it.
